Twitt(url)y

If you look at our Complete Stats page you will see that a significant portion of the traffic to this site comes from a site known as Twitt(url)y. Quoting from the site, Twitt(url)y is a service for tracking what URLs people are talking about as they talk about them on Twitter. This is sort of a Digg/Twitter hybrid. However this is not the only Twitter derivative like this. TwitBuzz offers this sort of service not only with links but also with conversations. The conversation component monitors how many replies there are to a tweet and determines the front page as such. Just a couple more of the many many sites that have been developed using Twitter data. This site has not however appeared on TwitBuzz, so maybe I should be promoting Twitt(url)y a bit more. I can’t say which is more accurate with it’s links section, but TwitBuzz does have more features. Check them out!

Posted by Justin Thiele on May 12th, 2008

The Shoshul Marketing page will be the home for all of our promotion and marketing efforts behind Shoshul. To further align with our value of full transparency, we will be continually writing about our promotion experiences. If we get Dugg, or post to Twitter, or buy Adwords we will let you know, and post the results, no matter the success or failure. So if you are interested in online advertising and marketing of any type, you may want to continue reading this page. We will give you unfettered access. Have a question about our methods or want to see some additional stats? “The Dude will oblige.”
